Edith Adams was the invented "housewife" persona who represented the homemaking department at the Vancouver Sun newspaper. Used by Margaret Lightfoot who was born in Saskatoon and grew up in Abbotsford, B.C. In 1942, she married Harry Lightfoot of Vancouver. About 1958 they moved to 4041 West 28th Avenue, Vancouver where this was part of their household effects.
